About the event

Join Nick Riggin for "Basic Cooking Skills for the Home Kitchen". Nick is a culinary school graduate, published cookbook author, and owner of a regenerative farm in Talking Rock, GA. In this class, we'll take a look at some of the basic equipment and tools for the home kitchen and then talk about knife skills & cooking methods and learn how to make stocks and sauces. This event will include live demonstrations. The facility does not allow cooking, but there will be a thorough explanation of food safety, equipment, knife skills, cooking methods, and how to make basic stocks & sauces. Several recipes will be shared in both printed and digital form. We look forward to seeing you!
